    We have a trip planned for August in the POR Royal Rooms. I am traveling with my 2 year old. MDE gives us the options yo request a corner room, ground floor and/or near bus stop. Any suggestions for what we should request?

    Hello Emily, and welcome to planDisney!

    August is a lovely time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and you will adore the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

    Though not guaranteed, I highly recommend making a request because, in my experience, most of the time, we were able to get what we asked for. Because you will have a little one in tow, I suggest requesting a corner room on the first floor. I love natural sunlight, and the corner rooms boast two windows which will allow a significant amount of light in and give you a reason to sit and gaze at the property outside. You can not go wrong with the Royal Guest Room because those special headboards create a “Fireworks” Display. Can you imagine experiencing that at night before bed?
