Hi there, Kristin! Welcome to planDisney, where it would be my pleasure to discuss your upcoming spring Walt Disney World vacation! As many people have experienced during these
uncertain times, it seems that you’ve had to postpone a prior Disney vacation. I am so glad to hear that you will soon be enjoying your rescheduled and long-awaited trip!
When it comes to a child officially crossing the age threshold into double digits, you are correct that this does mean they are eligible for a different
Park Ticket category. While Mickey does not ask for identification proving your son’s age at the Theme Park gates, I do recommend that you call Disney Existing Ticket Reservations
via telephone to sort this out ahead of time. I know it would bring me peace of mind knowing that my little guy had the appropriate Park Ticket type!
Kristin, once everyone has their Park Tickets linked within
My Disney Experience, you will be able to make
Park Pass Reservations for everyone. These are essential for entry into the Theme Park and are subject to availability. You can check the
this handy calendar to see which Theme Parks are available during the days you wish to visit, but I recommend that you book as soon as possible! Also, please browse the
Experience Updates pages to familiarize yourself with the latest information on the policies and procedures surrounding the safe reopening of the Disney Parks.
If you have any more questions or topics you’d like to discuss, be our Guest and hop back hEAR to see us again soon!
Happy travels!
Clara
