Hi Sandy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to get ready to make those advanced dining reservations. I am always delighted to greet a fellow North Carolinian!
As long as you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel (which it sounds like you are) and you have linked your resort hotel in My Disney Experience, you will be able to make all of your dining reservations for the entire trip up to 10 days. Since we normally do a seven-day trip, this works perfect for us. Prior to going online to make our reservations, I sit with my family and we chart out our dining plans. When I actually login to make the dining reservations, I know exactly which restaurants to reserve at which times.
As you make your reservations, reserve the most popular restaurants first, particularly
Cinderella's Royal Table and
Be Our Guest Restaurant. Even if you only plan to do breakfast or lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, make an advanced dining reservation. If you do make a reservation for breakfast or lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, also do the
Order Ahead dining. It saves valuable time in line at the restaurant.
Sandy, when you get to the parks, do take advantage of
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. We used this nifty feature one day after walking into Satu'li Canteen on Pandora - The World of Avatar and seeing a line that looked like it was miles long - lots of famished travelers.
Happy Planning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
