We have a trip planned April 2021. Right now dining reservations are only accepted 60 days out. When disney changes that, will they give us warning first? I’d hate it to open up & I miss out bc I didn’t know they were opened then everything be booked

    Hi Christina!

    Welcome to planDisney!

I am very happy to see that you are making plans for your trip next year, and you are ready to make your dining reservations.  I love the day that dining reservations become available because our holiday is almost upon us, even more at the moment when it is at 60 days, instead of 180 days.  We don't know if the 60-day window will continue for the rest of this year and through 2021 as we are still in an evolving situation and updates are happening all the time. The Disney Parks Blog is my first port of call for all the latest official news, so keep watching there (not just for news of dining reservations, but for all the latest announcements).  As dining locations are hosting limited seating at this time, it's even more important to be ready when reservations open, so what I am doing for my 2021 reservation is checking every week to see how far in advance we can make our bookings - just in case we miss any announcements.  Available dates can be seen on the Dining Reservations page here.

During the phased re-opening of Walt Disney World Resort, we may need a little more considered and careful planning, but our vacations can still be a magical experience.  Please read this information about Returning to a World of Magic, and Dining: Know Before You Go.

Please know we are working to be able to answer your questions as quickly as possible, and we look forward to providing an update as soon as we have more information to share.  Come back and ask as many questions as you like!  We are always happy to help you plan your vacation.
