We have a trip planned for this April. Are the refillable mugs available?

Oh, Sarah, it looks like your trip is right around the corner. I'm so excited for you! You'll be visiting during the Taste of Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival. Have you attended that event before? The topiaries are such a treat, and so are the tasty bites offered at the Outdoor Kitchens. I hope you've made plans to stop in. If you have a chance, you might want to peruse the menu offerings that showcase flavors inspired by dishes from around the world. During my visit last year, I had the chance to enjoy the Tropical Mousse Cup from La Isla Fresca. I don't mind telling you that it was so good I made an extra stop at Epcot, just to savor another one later in the trip.

I have great news for you regarding those refillable mugs. Indeed they are still available for purchase at Quick Service dining locations within Disney resorts. Because health and safety measures have necessitated some updates around Walt Disney World, the experience of using a refillable mug is a bit different than it has been in the past. Rather than filling your own mug at a beverage island, a Cast Member will provide you with your beverage of choice in a disposable cup. If drinking that beverage from your resort mug contributes to an overall vacation vibe for you, feel free to pour it into your souvenir mug!

The aforementioned health and safety measures around Walt Disney World do make each vacation especially unique this year. These tips for vacationing in 2021 might prove helpful as you finalize your itinerary. Be sure to snap plenty of photos in your family all masked up; those mementos will serve as iconic reminders someday! Have a great time, Sarah.
