We have a trip planned for April 18-25, 2009, I notice you said late april would be moderate crowds would you consider this to be late April since it does fall after Easter?

    William:

Generally the week before Easter is busier than the week after. And then the crowds tend to become more moderate by the end of the week after. You'll find the largest crowd on your first two days there: over the weekend when crowds are higher any way. By Tuesday, April 21, my favorite crowd forecasting site www.touringplans.com confirms that the crowds should be back to moderate.

If you are looking to avoid the crowds, hang out at the pool at your resort on Saturday or Sunday or visit Epcot, the larger of the parks. It tends to handle larger crowds well with its large pathways and longer ques.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
