Trip planned for April 2013 to celebrate 45 years of marriage. POFQ is our favorite. Went to Tomorrowland T&F last trip. Is Pirates & Fireworks comparable? What do they serve to eat because we really enjoyed the special desserts last time.

    Hi Sharon!

What a wonderful destination to celebrate a 45th anniversary!  It's great you are looking for special things to help you celebrate.  I have been on the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage a few times, with the last time being just a couple of months ago.  We were served bagged pretzels and popcorn, fruit, granola bars, brownies and a sheet cake that was sliced for us.  There was also coffee, tea, water, lemonade and fruit punch to drink.  I was told that in the warmer months, they hand out ice cream instead of the cake.  The treats definitely do not compare to the dessert spread of the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party, but it is more entertaining.  The pirates are hilarious and the boat ride is awesome.  It's a nice change of scenery to watch Wishes from the water.  If you have a chance to experience this special event, I recommend that you do.

    Have a magical day!
