Hello and welcome to planDisney, Tanya!
I see nothing wrong with having a contingency plan in place for an upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! The good news is that based on your noted arrival date, if you need to cancel, that can happen (within the noted guidelines).
Per the current
2023 Website Package Terms and Conditions, if you have reserved a vacation package, you can cancel that package 30 days or more before your arrival date, and any amounts paid, minus cancellation fees assessed by third-party hotels or other suppliers, non-refundable travel protection plan costs, and other amounts owed, will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 30 days from arrival will be subject to cancellation fees. A room-only reservation can be canceled without penalty up to five days before your scheduled arrival date.
Theme park tickets are non-refundable; however, you can modify the tickets’ dates to be used later if the changes occur before the original ticket start date.
Please let us know if you have additional questions; we are happy to help.
Have a magical time!
