I have a trip planned, 5 adults and 2 of which are over 70 years of age. We will have 3 days at Disney World and would like to visit all 4 parks, as there are attractions in each park that we are all interested in. I would love some advice/help in planning

    Hello there, Brian!

I may spontaneously turn into pixie dust because I love this question so much. You’ll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during such an exciting time with the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival and the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom Park.

You’ll likely want to purchase “Park Hopper Option” tickets so that you can visit more than one park per day. With the Park Hopper Option, you can visit the next park starting at 2:00 p.m. after you enter the first park. Once you purchase your tickets, check the Hours & Events calendar and the theme park reservation availability to determine which park you want to visit on particular dates and confirm that nighttime spectaculars are available. Everyone in your group will need a form of admission, a theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit the theme parks, and a way to enter the theme parks (i.e., MagicBand+, MagicBand, Disney MagicMobile pass, or an admission card).

Let me walk you through my perfect Walt Disney World Resort vacation:

Day 1: I like to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios first because the average person visits Magic Kingdom Park on their first day. My favorite attraction is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, whereas Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway is fun for the whole family. End the day with Fantasmic!, a fabulous nighttime spectacular.
Day 2: I recommend taking an entire day at Magic Kingdom Park to experience classic attractions like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Haunted Mansion. Your family will adore the return of my favorite nighttime spectacular, “Happily Ever After.”
Day 3: I would start your day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park to enjoy Avatar Flight of Passage and Kilimanjaro Safaris. After 2:00 p.m., you can head to EPCOT to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the festival, and the “EPCOT Forever” nighttime spectacular.

No matter what, you will have an absolutely magical vacation. Please feel free to follow up if you are looking for more detailed tips and tricks.

May the magic be with you!
