    Arturo from CA Asked

We Have a trip plan for Disneyland California on July 8, do we still need a California ID to enter the park ?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Arturo!

Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by, and we are beyond excited to answer your question as you plan for your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! I also see you will be arriving in just a few days! YESSSSSS! I am counting down the days with you!

First of all, you are going to absolutely LOVE visiting Disney California Adventure Park! My spidey senses are telling me you are going to have a SUPER time at the all-new Avenger Campus AND at my personal favorite place to visit, Cars Land!

Now, are you ready for some MAGICAL news?! I am very happy to inform you that you will not need a California ID to enter any of the Disneyland Theme Parks. When Mickey Mouse and his pals started the phased reopening of the Disneyland Resort, California residents were only allowed to visit the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH. Since Mickey has opened up the theme parks to all guests around the world, a California ID is no longer needed to prove California residency.

I hope this helps you in your planning! Since NEW TIGGER-ific information is being shared all of the time, make sure you don't miss anything by following Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and please subscribe to The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are just a question away!

    See Ya Real Soon!
