Our trip is in October 2016 and we are excited to ride the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. I am a "Pooh sized" mom. Can you tell me how wide its lap bar is so I can determine whether I will fit or not. Thank you

    Hello, Penny,

Thank you for your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and I understand your excitement to want to ride the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  The attraction fits two guests side by side in seats that are more narrow than roomy.  Each seat has an individual lap bar that does have some flexibility as to how far you'll need to pull it down.  For example, my youngest son is quite thin, so he can pull it down much farther than I need to.  However, the lap bar needs to fit down over both legs, which is troublesome for larger guests.  It is my understanding that the lap bar is around 13 inches long. To help you visualize the attraction better to see if it works for you, I'd do an internet search for A Guide to Walt Disney World Attraction Vehicles and Seating: Magic Kingdom by Erin Foster. The article is a comprehensive guide to seating at all the attractions at the Magic Kingdom (with links to similar articles about the other parks) including pictures. You can also do a search for Fitting in Seven Dwarfs Mine Train for a discussion on this topic at the independent website Disboards.com.  I think between the two articles you should have a better idea if the attraction will work for you.

If you have any further questions about your upcoming trip, please let us know.  We are happy to help.

Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
