Hi there, Carmen!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you stopped by with your question about your trip to Walt Disney World Resort next yEAR! What an amazing time you will have, and you will have such a memorable vacation experiencing the magic of Walt Disney World Resort with your nephew! Some of my BEST theme park memories are from when my boys were that age and seeing the enchantment on their faces when they saw
Cinderella Castle – or the afternoon parade – for the first time! Those are moments that I won’t forget!
Since little legs get tired quicker than grown-up legs, you are definitely going to want to have a stroller for the little Mouseketeer! Unfortunately, the
strollers available to rent at the theme parks cannot be reserved ahead of time and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The only way to pre-reserve a stroller rental is to rent one through a local company and then arrange the delivery of it to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Another option would be to bring a stroller from home – just ensure that it fits within the size guidelines as stated on the
park rules.
Since it sounds like you like to get everything lined up ahead of time (which is great when it comes to visiting the theme parks), be sure you have the 180-day mark noted on your calendar! Once you hit the 180-day point in your countdown, you can make advanced dining reservations! I would recommend at least one Character dining experience, if possible, where your nephew can get up close and personal with his favorites – and you can get some great photos! One of my family’s favorites is breakfast at
Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom; we love seeing our favorites dressed up in their safari gear and since it’s a buffet, there is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy – and lots of it!
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation! Please visit us again with any other questions you have!
