Our trip is Oct 8-13 and we have a 2 year old and an 8 year old, both boys. Where should we make reservations that will keep both kids happy? I'm concerned the toddler will not sit through a meal, but I would like to get a nice dinner.

Hi, Rebecca!    It can be a challenge to keep kids happy during meals!    To make things easier, we usually dine at restaurants that are buffets or serve the meals Family Style (platters of food brought to your table.)    This works well since the wait time to eat is cut down considerably!   Some places you might want  to consider:

    -Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary
    -Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge
-Best Friends Breakfast with Lilo and Stich at 'Ohana in Polynesian
-Garden Grill in Land Pavilion in Epcot
-Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends in Magic Kingdom
-Donald's Safari Breakfast in Animal Kingdom

Make sure to call ahead for Advance Dining Reservations at (407)WDW-DINE.   The faster you are seated, the better chance of your kids sitting though it all!   Have fun planning your Disney Dining!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
