Trip Oct 29-31. As suggested trying to make reservations ahead of time for dining. We have tried for a couple days to make reservations at various times for dinner and aren’t able to find anything. Are all the restaurants booked? Very disappointing. Help

Hey there, hi there, Bill! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your dining reservation question.

I am sorry to hear you seem to be having difficulties finding reservations for your upcoming trip. I know that can be frustrating. I did a quick dining reservation search for some of your dates for a party of 4 and I do see availability at 13 locations for dining at the time of writing this, but it's hard to say specifically to you since I do not know how many are in your party. I wish I could magically make your desired reservations appear, but I can give you some tips that may be helpful.

-When searching for dining reservations, be sure you try specific times in the drop-down search. I have noticed that if you select "dinner" instead, I find that it shows you fewer options.

-Keep checking every few days. Guests are constantly making changes to their plans and options could open up. I suggest looking the day before or even the day of your visit. I've found lots of great reservations this way.

-Certain dining locations throughout Disneyland Resort participate in the mobile walk-up list that is available in the Disneyland app. This is another great option for when you are in the parks. Once you find a location, search for it in the app and click on the "join walk-up list" option. Walk-up lists can fill to capacity from time to time but they usually do open back up.

-If there is a specific location that you are really hoping for it also never hurts to walk up to a Cast Member there earlier in the day and ask if there is same-day availability. It's not a guarantee, but a kind ask never hurts!

Bill, I hope these suggestions help you find a few great dining reservations for your visit. Please come back and visit us again with any other questions!
