    My trip is next week. I purchased Genie+ and I'll also use Individual LL sometimes. These are seperated? For example, now is 1 pm, I booked something starting 4 pm with genie+, right after can I purchase individual LL starting 2 or 5 pm?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I hope you've dusted off your Mickey ears, because your Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner.

    It sounds like you have been reading up on Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes so that you can make the most of your time in the parks. I know the whole process can seem a bit confusing, but once you start using the two different options, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

    Genie+ Lightning Lanes and Individual Lightning Lanes work totally independent from each other. If I understand your question, you want to know if you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane right after you make a Genie+ selection, and the answer is, yes! 

    Using your example, let's pretend we're in EPCOT. At 1:00 PM, you make a Genie+ selection for Frozen Ever After with a return time of 4:00 PM. You can immediately purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure if there are any available, and you'll be able to select your return time. Notice I said, "If they are available." That's because Individual Lightning Lanes tend to sell out quickly. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you'll want to make your first Genie+ selection AND purchase your Individual Lightning Lane at 7:00 AM. If you're not a Resort Hotel guest, you can still make your Genie+ selection at 7:00 AM, but you'll have to wait until EPCOT opens to purchase your Individual Lightning Lane. 

    Let's go back to your example and talk a bit more about Genie+ selections. So, at 1:00 PM you have a Lightning Lane for Frozen Ever After scheduled for 4:00 PM. You will be able to make your NEXT Lightning Lane selection at 3:00 PM (120 minutes after you made the first one) even before you check in at Frozen. The rule of thumb is that you can make another Lightning Lane selection either 1) after you've checked into your current scheduled Lightning Lane, or 2) 120 minutes after selecting a Lightning Lane time, whichever comes first.
