Hi Siobhan,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!
I’m thrilled to hear that you purchased your Theme Park Tickets for your upcoming vacation with the
Canadian Resident special offer. It really is a great deal. First things first, my understanding for most versions of this promotion was that the tickets typically have some kind of an expiry date or date range within which they were valid, so please double-check your tickets’ purchase confirmation to make sure!
As for adding on additional days, the ability to do so and the cost associated with that upgrade will depend on your tickets’ terms and conditions. I recently visited Walt Disney World Resort with some friends who had purchased their tickets with this year’s Canadian Resident offer and they were able to upgrade them to Park Hopper passes by paying the difference between the cost of a “regular” Park Hopper ticket and the price that they had paid for their tickets. So, if you remember what you paid, look at the price right now for a regularly priced 7 or 8 day
Theme Park Ticket and you should get an idea of how much you’ll pay. Don’t forget that you can only upgrade your tickets at a
Guest Relations window at any Theme Park or Disney Springs (and not at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel).
Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about your May visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I love helping my fellow Canadians.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
