Welcome to planDisney Sienna!
Can you believe that your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation is fast approaching? I'm sure you're heart is singing with Princess Tiana, "I'm almost there!" May is a fantastic time to visit the Disney Water Parks. My wife and I love heading to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park in between our Theme Park days. A much-deserved rest on
Castaway Creek is just what the body needs after "going the distance" the previous day. Have you heard about the
Beachcomber Shacks, Sienna? These private shaded areas can accommodate multiple people in your party and come with towels, cushioned seating, a locker, souvenir refillable mugs, and cold water (available all day). Not a bad idea if you're going to be spending most of the day at a Water Park.
But let's get to your question. A great question, if I may say so. The Park Hopper Plus Option gives you a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun (besides the Theme Parks) based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. You'll be glad to know that if you visit a Water Park early in the day, you can of course leave for lunch, and then return to the same Water Park, and it will only count as 1 visit. Just be aware that
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is currently closed for refurbishment.
Also, have you watched/listened to the
March episode of the new planDisney podcast? My fellow planDisney friends have some awesome tips and fascinating information about Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Make sure you watch/listen to it before your trip.
I hope that's helpful, Sienna. I'm sure you're going to have an absolutely amazing time. "Go. Live your dream."
Mike
