Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Rodney. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
It's so exciting that your trip to
Walt Disney World is right around the corner. I bet the countdown is on! Rodney, a golf cart is such a good way to zip around
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. My family and I stay there every year and we always rent one ourselves! They are a must while there. The Fort (as its' loving nickname) has so many fun things to do but they can be quite spread out around the campground. Having a golf cart is so convenient. You can
rent a golf cart directly from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. Golf carts currently rent for $62.91 plus tax per day but keep in mind that prices are subject to change at any time without notice. You can pick up your golf cart rental anytime after 1:00 p.m. and it must be returned by 11:00 a.m. on the return date. The golf carts comfortably seat 4 people, have plenty of cup holders and some storage space and are electric. You can keep them charged at your campsite easy peasy. I think you'll really enjoy renting one on your upcoming trip. It's always a highlight for my family.
Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line a the Walt Disney World Theme Park you'd like to visit each day. This is in place because the Walt Disney World Theme Parks are still operating at a limited capacity and it's a great way to control the crowds. To see what park pass reservations are available for your travel dates, I recommend checking out the
Walt Disney World Theme Park availability calendar first. You'll select if you are on property Guest, which you are, and the ticket type that you have. Then, you can look at the specific date on the calendar and see what's available. When you are ready to make your park pass reservations (which I recommend doing asap) you'll first want to link your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets to your
MyDisneyExperience account. If you've already done this - great! Next, you'll visit the park pass reservation website and log in to your MyDisneyExperience account if prompted. You'll then select if you are using theme park tickets or an annual pass to make park pass reservations. After that, you'll choose every one you'll want to make park pass reservations for, the date on the calendar and then make a theme park selection. If all goes well you'll be taken to a confirmation page and have the option to make a selection for a different day. I know it can sound like a daunting process, but it's actually very simple because it's all automated. You can't go to the next step without completing the first one. It's a great process.
I hope this helps answer your questions, Rodney. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me.
Have fun!
Jackie H.
