Our trip is for the last week in September,2020. We have park reservations and a handicap accessible resort reservation at a resort not scheduled to be open. How to I change my resort reservation to another handicapped accessible room ?

    Howdy Lynn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Thank you for sharing your question with us!

I know you are ready to start your vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!  There are so many exciting things on the horizon as Mickey and Minnie open their doors to guests in just a few weeks!  I know you are ready to make unforgettable memories!

Since you need a handicap accessible room, then I highly recommend contacting Guest Relations.  Your Walt Disney World vacation is in September, and you may find out that by that time, your resort hotel may be open, but I would call and confirm a handicap accessible room.  I have placed a couple of links in the highlighted areas above so that you will be able to speak with a Cast Member to make this confirmation.

Your window to make “dining reservations” is quickly approaching!  Sixty days before your check-in date, you will be able to make reservations for up to 10 days of your Walt Disney World Resort stay.  There is a list of Walt Disney World Resort Hotel dining options and Walt Disney World Resort Park dining options.  I have placed a link in the above “dining reservations” text, so you will be able to review and decide which restaurants you would like to reserve.

Your vacation will be here before you know it!  I am sure you are counting down the days!  To stay informed of all the new developments as the parks plan to reopen, check the Disney Parks Blog.  Also, if you have any more questions while you are planning, come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

We look forward to helping you with any further planning questions!  Happy planning, Lynn!
