We had our 1st trip January 2018 & did the star wars guided tour which is where the planning of our December 2019 trip started due to the opening of Galaxy Edge we are 67 days away but cant find a new star wars/galaxy edge tour to purchase

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question, my fellow Canadian.

It’s crazy how one trip to Walt Disney World Resort leads to another… and then another… and then another! There’s not only so much to see and do that it’s impossible to see everything in just one visit, but there’s also always something new and exciting to explore.

One of the most exciting developments recently is definitely the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I’m thrilled to hear that you were able to get a sneak peek of this amazing new land during a tour you took last January. From what I understand, for the moment, there are no Star Wars-specific Events & Tours offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or at Walt Disney World Resort, for that matter. If you’re looking for more insight into the way that the Disney Parks operate, I thoroughly recommend the Backstage Magic tour. It’s a full-day exploration of all of the Resort’s nooks and crannies and is well worth the cost!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne

Hi, I’m Lynne from Montreal, Quebec, Canada! I’m a working mom who enjoys snuggles with my son and my husband, who has been my sweetheart since 1997. We’ve been lucky enough to experience several milestones in Walt Disney World, including our wedding and honeymoon in 2009. As Disney Vacation Club members, we often plan trips for large, and sometimes even multi-generational, groups to come and enjoy the fun with us. Learn More About Lynne
