For trip in January 2014, would love to have dinner with hubby one evening while kids hang out at one of the Kids Activity Centers. Any recommendations as to romantic restaurants that are close (ideally) to one of the Kids Centers? We are staying at BLT.

    Hi there Rachel!

I'm a big fan of enjoying an adults only evening during our Walt Disney World vacations. Since you're staying at Bay Lake Tower, you're ideally situated to take advantage of some of the best, adult dining on the property as well as the most fun Children's Center!

My kids' hands-down favourite center is the Polynesian's Never Land Club. When my daughter was 12 and it was her last visit there, she actually cried when we picked them back up at the end of the evening! That's how much my kids have enjoyed their evenings spent there.

Once your kids are checked in for their own evening of fun, there are some great dining options, accessible by monorail, for you and your husband to enjoy. Don't worry about the kids at all! They're in great hands and your cell phone numbers will be on file in case of any need to contact you while you're dining. You'll also notate where you'll be and your planned time of pick up. To reserve the Never Land Club while simultaneously making your dining reservation, simply call (407) WDW-DINE.

Consider an Advance Dining Reservation at California Grill in Disney's Contemporary Resort, or Narcoossee's or Citricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Take a look at their menus and descriptions online and see what you think!

Following your meal, hop back onto the monorail to the Polynesian to reunite with the kids - and don't be surprised if you have a hard time convincing them that it's time to leave! If you have time, consider a romantic, moonlit stroll along the Polynesian's beautiful beach for a stunning view of Cinderella Castle across the water.

If you have additional questions, feel free to write me back Rachel. I'd love to hear from you again.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
