This trip will be my husband and I 's 5th visit but our first with our 2.5 yr old daughter. Can you recommend something special that we can do to make it extra memorable besides character dining? Also, have you used the child care that comes to your room?

    Hi Melissa,

This brings back many memories for me, as this is the age that my daughter was when I first brought her to Walt Disney World.  I remember one of the best off-park things she enjoyed was the petting farm in Fort Wilderness Campground, as well as the Campfire singalong and marshmallow roast with Chip and Dale.  She also had an introduction to sand at the beach located here, and definitely was not sure what to make of that!!!!!

If you are looking for attractions inside the parks, I would recommend, "Dumbo" and "The many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh".  Be careful with the interactive 3-D adventures such as "It's Tough to be a Bug"  and "Honey, I shrunk The Audience",  they can be a bit scary for the little one's, but she will probably love "Mickey's PhilharMagic " (also a 3-D interactive experience) featuring Mickey, Donald Tinkerbell and many more favorites.

I will give you a link to "Magical Beginnings", a program designed for families with pre-school age children, you can even download and print a map for when you arrive at the parks for easy access to little one's attractions.  I hope this helps you.

    Have a wonderful trip!
