This is our 1st trip w/ our 6 & 7 yo girls. I need my morning coffee hot + w/ real cream. We're staying at the Beach Club. Is there a mug I can purchase to get my bottomless cup? Would it be far from our room?

    Hello Diane,

You can certainly purchase a refillable mug at the Beach Club Marketplace (which is also where they have the refillable soda station offering Apple Juice, Soda's, Coffee and Tea) and I hate to say anything negative about Walt Disney World but their coffee is not their forte.  I do think the refillable mugs are a great deal, I get them for all of my trips to enjoy the "bottomless" soda's, juices, tea, etc...but not the coffee!  There are a few locations within WDW that do serve a great cup of Java (my favorite is the Kona coffee that always gives me my "fix" from the Polynesian Resort) but most locations have coffee that is not really worthy of drinking (in my opinion).  The Marketplace is located just next to the elevators in the main lobby of the resort and depending on where your room is located (this is quite a large resort) would depend on how far away this gift shop is from your room.  The Marketplace also has a nice area which sells fresh bread, cereal, some bakery items, your basic food essentials as well as fridges filled with drinks, various cheeses, hot dogs, frozen foods (there is a microwave on-site in the store for added convenience) and best of all CREAM!  Okay, let's get back on topic of the coffee situation...here is what I did on my last stay there a few months ago:

The rooms come equipped with a fridge and coffee machine.  I brought my own coffee (which is very tasty I must add), I bought cream in the Marketplace and kept it nice and cool in our fridge and every morning and night, I had a lovely cup of coffee (my much needed caffeine fix) in my room complete with fresh cream and I didn't even have to leave the room.....that would be my suggestion to you so you enjoy your coffee every single day of your vacation!  Have a magical first trip to Walt Disney World!

    Best wishes,
