Hi, Eric!
I also love photography, particularly at Disneyland, where there are so many picture-worthy views and magical moments to capture. In addition to the quintessential park photo spots, I like to seek out off-the-beaten path locations for unique photos. Below are some of my favorites.
-Sleeping Beauty Castle: While most pose in front of it, the architecture of the back of the castle is also quite striking and provides a unique backdrop. The Sword in the Stone attraction is nearby in front of King Arthur Carrousel, where a young knight might enjoy trying his hand at the task of budging the mighty sword.
-Snow White Grotto: This serene treasure on the side of Sleeping Beauty Castle includes statues of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and a cascading waterfall. There is a quaint bridge marked by wooden hearts leading to a wishing well, the perfect place for a little princess to toss in a coin and make a magical wish!
-Court des Anges: This often-passed location is one of the most picturesque photo spots in the park. It’s nestled in New Orleans Square, and the first couple steps of the winding staircase make the perfect family photo location.
-Mickey’s Fun Wheel: Wait for your gondola to reach the top, then take in the bird’s eye view and capture a photo from one of the highest points in Disney California Adventure Park.
-All of the mountains: The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, Matterhorn Bobsleds and Splash Mountain attractions in Disneyland Park, plus Grizzly Peak in Disney California Adventure Park, are all iconic resort landmarks. Don’t forget the Cadillac Mountain Range in Cars Land’s Ornament Valley—the six peaks of the mountain range represent Cadillac tail fins from 1957-1962!
I hope you have a picture-perfect time on your upcoming Disneyland Resort vacation, Eric!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
