Our trip is finally pd in full :)--I'm not a great saver--thinking of buying a few hundred dollars worth of disney dollars at disney store (so I can have it for disney alone)--They are good at all places in the parks--stores? food? etc. thanks sooo much

Hi Melanie - Congrats on paying your trip in full!  I think purchasing Disney dollars (or alternatively, putting money on a Disney gift card) is a great way to have money put aside specifically for Disney.  The risk is just the possibility of the money being lost or stolen.

I haven't had any problems using Disney dollars at the parks.  Officially, they are accepted at "most" locations at Walt Disney World, so there may be some places where they aren't accepted.

Do keep in mind that they aren't accepted in coin machines and when you pay with Disney dollars, you are likely to receive change in regular US dollars.

    Have a great vacation!
