Our trip is finally less than 30 days away! There are 8 of us traveling and have two reservations at the Polynesian so really need adjoining rooms. I don't see that as an option at online check-in. Any suggestions?

    Hi Kathy,

How thrilling for your vacation to be just around the corner, I bet you are becoming quite excited! Since there are 6 people in my own family quite often I have reservations for 2 rooms as well. Room requests are just that - requests and cannot be guaranteed however there are some things you can do to increase your chances of having your room request met.

First, you should understand terminology. Adjoining means next to one another and adjoining rooms are simply side by side. Connecting rooms means there is an internal door which may be opened to connect the two rooms. Be sure you are using the correct terminology when making your requests, especially if you are really seeking connecting rooms. Next you should make sure your request for connecting or adjoining rooms is noted in your reservation by calling the phone number listed here for Disney Resort hotel reservations. Have your confirmation numbers handy to expedite your call. Finally call the Resort hotel directly 4-10 days prior to your check-in date and ask to speak with "Room Assignments" so that you may clarify your request with the Cast Members who perform your actual room assignments. The Cast Members in charge of assigning rooms receive their Guest information data approximately 10 days prior to check-in and they assign specific rooms approximately 3 days prior to check-in. Therefore if you call 4-10 days prior to your check-in you will likely make your room request before the rooms have been assigned.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation plans Kathy! Have a Magical vacation and please let us know if you have any more last minute vacation planning questions.

    Blessings,
