    1st trip was Feb 08 for DD 6th b-day,everyone in the family gave her Dis. Dollars and gift cards for X-Mas & B-day. They want to do the same for her for our Jan 09 trip, but he Disney stores in the 2 malls by us closed! Closest is 50 mi. Suggestions?

    Hi Gia - I also think Disney Gifts cards and Dollars are a great gift idea for kids of any age!  I happen to get many of my friends and family gift cards for holidays and birthdays.   I order my gifts cards on-line at DisneyShopping.com for a few reasons.   I don't need to visit a store (as you state is sometimes an issue) and it can be delivered to the recipient for free.   I like the fact that you can also personalize the message they receive.

    As for Disney Dollars, I collect these.   While I occasionally find them sold at Disney stores, I typically choose to pick these up when I visit Disney World as I want to make sure I get nice clean bills.   Hopefully by providing her Gift Cards, she can then pick-up Disney dollars during her January visit.  Hope this helps.
