Our trip this fall is turning into a big family trip (yay!). We have several families going, each with their own reservation. Are we able to link packages together so that we can book dining reservations together?

Hiya, Alyssa! Welcome to planDisney. Traveling to the Most Magical Place on Earth is even more enchanting when you have a large family making memories together. You must be so excited!

You can easily connect as Family & Friends on the My Disney Experience App. If everyone in your group has a MyDisney account, you can add them to your list by going to the menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen); scrolling to "Account;" and selecting "Profile." On the Profile screen, there is a tab called "Family & Friends List." On this page, go to "+ Add a Guest." You can add people by scanning their linking codes if you are together or by email if you are not. To add by email, select "I'll enter their name and age" and follow the prompts. They will need to accept the invitation that is sent to their email.

You will be able to make dining reservations starting 60 days before your trip. If you are staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can make reservations for your entire stay (up to 10 nights) when your booking window opens. You can make reservations for any party size, so you will not have to be connected to reserve a table large enough for everyone. Being connected is helpful, though, as you can link their profile to the reservation and it will then show up in their app, too, under their plans.

With a large family, I hope you have considered PhotoPass. With PhotoPass service, you can share photos among up to 25 family and friends. As you are all getting photos from attractions and stopping for the classic pictures in front of Cinderella Castle, these photos will be in your Photo Gallery in the app. You do not all need to add this feature to your ticket. With one person with PhotoPass, you will see all the photos of the people connected to you in your Family & Friends list. In the My Disney Experience app, go to the menu, scroll to "Disney PhotoPass" and select "Photo Gallery." On the Photo Gallery screen, select the tab "Include Family & Friends." Be sure to ask your photographer for a Magic Shot for some fun pixie dust magic in your photos.

If you have any other questions as you are getting ready for big family fun at Walt Disney World Resort, please come back to planDisney. We're here for you!

    Adventure is out there!
