Hi Catherine,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your planning seems fantastic! I love that you are going to see the Let the Magic Begin Show at Magic Kingdom and that you have an early morning breakfast reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is lovely. But you are correct in trying to sort out your early morning transportation. Be sure to review the operating times for Walt Disney World
Resort Transportation. Bus Service officially begins 45 minutes prior to park opening. Depending on the park hours for the dates of your visit, you may need to consider alternative transportation to the parks. I suggest that you give yourself an hour and a half to get from the resort to a dining reservation.
In the past, when the bus service was not operating yet, we have taken a taxi or Uber to get to Epcot. We were able to use the Resort Monorail as early as 7:15 a.m. to get to Magic Kingdom. Remember that guests can enter Magic Kingdom one hour prior to park opening to enjoy the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. prior to the Let the Magic Begin Show. So, if Magic Kingdom officially opens at 9:00 a.m., you could enter as early as 8:00 a.m.
When you arrive, check with the Lobby Concierge to inquire about bus times. You could also call 407-828-3500 to see if Minnie Van™ service might be a good option. Currently, they operate from select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels from 6:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Catherine, I trust that you will enjoy the Let the Magic Begin show and Princess Storybook Dining at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. It seems almost surreal to stroll through Epcot when the park is nearly empty - remember to take pictures along the way!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
