This is our 1st trip to Disney World. We have 2 girls ages 4 & 6 & a son who is 2 1/2. We are only visiting the parks for 2 days. We will def do Magic Kingdom but my big question is where to go on the 2nd day? Magic Kingdom again or Hollywood? Hel

    Hi Ashley!

Our family's favorite park by far is the Magic Kingdom, and we could (and often do!) spend several days there every time we go, no problem!  However, we really enjoy Hollywood Studios, too.

I would advise you NOT to try doing a "DO EVERYTHING IN ONE DAY" itinerary in the parks, or it just will not be an enjoyable experience.  However, you can do most of your "Must Do's" in each park within one day with a good plan.

Unless you are trying to make Advanced Dining Reservations for each day, then I would suggest just "playing it by EAR", and make your decision after your first day in the Magic Kingdom.  If you got to do most everything you wanted to do in the Magic Kingdom that day, then go on to Hollywood Studios your 2nd day.

However, I doubt if you would find yourselves bored by spending both days in the Magic Kingdom.  You could really take your time, making sure you do & see all of the attractions, parades, and shows that are your "Must Do's", but then also taking the time to experience those things that you may have overlooked if you only had 1 day.  Sometimes, those turn into being those "hidden gems" that create some of the most magical memories of our trips to Walt Disney World!

If you spend both days in the Magic Kingdom, consider taking some time out to enjoy one of the Character Dining Experiences in the Park, such as at The Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and Friends, or Cinderella's Royal Table in the Castle!   Or, you could even hop on the monorail for a ride over to one of the Disney Resorts to enjoy one of their unique Character Dining Experiences!  Our children especially LOVE Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort!

Whatever you choose, I hope that you all have a magical experience and enjoy creating unforgettable memories together on your vacation to Walt Disney World!
