Our trip to Disney World is coming up very soon. My son has a loose tooth. He is waiting to loose it until we are there. He is hoping for an extra special visit from the tooth fairy. I was wondering if you could give some ideas to make this special. Thanks

Hi, Lori!  That IS so exciting.

2 years ago, on Christmas Eve, my daughter lost a tooth while we were at Disney's Hollywood Studios. She was thrilled because not only would she get a visit from Santa that night, the Tooth Fairy was coming too.  Much to her enjoyment, she woke up on Christmas Day with a wonderful surprise under her pillow. Instead of regular money, she found Disney Dollars!  Disney Dollars are the official currency of Walt Disney World and come in 1, 5 and 10 dollar increments.  If the Tooth Fairy is reading this, she might need to know that she can purchase Disney Dollars at the resort you are staying at or at Guest Relations at any of the 4 theme parks. They are accepted most places on Walt Disney World property and a lot of fun for kiddos to spend.  The Tooth Fairy also bumped into Tinker Bell on the way to our room and she mentioned that my daughter loved pinned trading and gave the Tooth Fairy a pin to give to her.  So when she woke up in the morning she found Disney Dollars and a brand new Tinker Bell pin under her pillow. It was such a great morning, my daughter was ear to ear smiles all day.  Because we weren't expecting loosing a tooth, we didn't have anything to put it in under the pillow.  While we were talking to a Cast Member at the resort about what had happen, they went to the gift shop and pulled out a small wooden tooth box to give to her.  So if your son does lose the tooth, I would check at your resort gift shop to see if they have any of those boxes too.

I'm so excited for your son, fingers crossed it comes out.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
