This is our 3rd trip to Disney. We usually just stop and grab a counter service meal when we are hungry, but I feel we have missed out on some great stuff doing that. Could you suggest some unique CSM in each park? I have seen the picnic at AK. Thanks!

Hi, Ellie,   There are some great restaurants to experience while at the Disney Theme Parks.    On your next vacation, you really should try one or two dining experiences!

The Picnic in the Park is new at Animal Kingdom.  For a great overview of this, read an answer HERE from Disney Mom Anna.    This is actually just a counter service meal, but with a bit of Disney "fun" tossed in!

Some restaurants you might want to try:
Magic Kingdom:   Crystal Palace (buffet with Pooh and Friends)
Epcot:   Try any of the restaurants in World Showcase.   Teppan Edo is a really fun place and good food.
Hollywood Studios:   Sci-Fi Dine-in Theater or 50's Prime Time Cafe are both fun dining experiences.   For something more upscale, try the Brown Derby.
Animal Kingdom:   For this, head to Animal Kingdom Lodge and try Jiko.   A wonderful dining experience.     And don't forget to try the Picnic!

Have fun dining around Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
