Our trip to Disney is a surprise for our kids. Is there any kind of email, letter or way for them to get the surprise from Disney??? Thanks...

    Hi Carolina!

Some promotions do include a phone call from a Disney character, but that is almost always in the form of a recording and thus there isn't any interaction.  Also promotions including that feature don't seem to come out very often.

There's been a lot of questions over the years about surprising children with a Disney vacation.  Sometimes the surprise doesn't work too well if the children are expecting something else.  You might think about keeping it a secret until just before going; in fact, if you can pull it off, you might wait until you are on the way to Walt Disney World or on the way to an airport.

If you want to surprise them earlier, an idea that I like is to tie a note to the bottom of several helium filled balloons that says something along the lines of "We are going to Walt Disney World."  Then you can tie the balloons together and put them in a box and wrap the box.  Then when the children open the box, the balloons will float out with the sign.

You might also think about ordering the free planning DVD and playing that one night.  Or getting some tour books on Walt Disney World and leaving them on the kitchen table, etc.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
