Hi there this is our 1st trip to Disney .we are staying Arts of Animation. What I've been reading seems like there are no coffee pots in the rooms. Is this correct?  Gotta have my coffee. Near as important is the an iron? This a must for my wife.

Hey there, Craig! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's have some coffee talk, shall we?

I know how important that first cup is for some folks each morning. For me it's diet soda, so I'm actually thankful for the mini refrigerators in Disney's Art of Animation rooms! As for coffee makers, you will find them in the resort's Family Suites, located in the Lion King, Cars and Finding Nemo sections. The suites' kitchenette areas include a small refrigerator, a microwave and a sink in addition to your coffee maker.

If you're staying in a standard room in the Little Mermaid section of the resort, you won't have the kitchenette, just the mini fridge, and, sadly, no coffee maker.

Your wife will be glad to know that all rooms do include an iron and ironing board.

If you happen to be in a Little Mermaid room, you're just a short walk from the Landscape of Flavors food court, where you can grab yourself a cup of joe pretty much day or night.

Craig, I hope this information helps you get that morning coffee while you're on vacation. Have a magical time at Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
