We have a trip to Disney starting 1/15/22. Our son is in Vietnam and given the present covid situation, may not make it back to join us. Even if he does, he will not be able to use the 4th day of the 4 day park tickets we bought. What can I do?

Hey howdy hey Dallie and welcome to planDisney! Looks like your trip is coming up fast, in just a short time you will be in the most Magical place on Earth! There are so many fantastic reasons to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort this time of year. One of the highlights would be the highly anticipated EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This is one of the more visually stunning festivals that takes place in EPCOT with the ability to be fully immersed in the art itself. So many cool galleries of established and up-and-coming artists, very interactive art activities, sitting back and enjoying DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert series music and of course the culinary arts! There are so many reasons to visit EPCOT for this festival.

Now for your son coming in from out of the country, this part gets a little tricky. As per the Walt Disney World Resort site, all ticket sales are non-transferable and non-refundable. However, with the Covid-19 situation being what it is and your son coming in from a different country, there is much less in your control with his travel plans. What I would highly recommend is calling Walt Disney World Resort Existing Ticket line at (407) 934-7639 and talking directly to a cast member about your situation. When you interact with a cast member, they may be able to shake a little pixie dust on the situation and work a little magic for you.

I hope everything works out with your family's travel plans and you are able to be with your son on your trip. One of my favorite parts about being in Walt Disney World Resort is being there with my family and I hope you will be able to experience this trip with yours as well. I wish your son safe travels and if you have any other questions keep them coming!

    Your pal,
