Howdy, Phaedra! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
As a fellow mother of a tall child (my daughter was riding roller coasters by age 3!), I completely understand your concern. However, you can rest easy as you do not need to bring along any proof of your child's age. You might be asked how old she is by a Cast Member, but that will be it. If your little one is adventurous, you might want to try out some attractions with shorter height restrictions like the Tomorrowland Speedway (32" height requirement) or The Barnstormer (35" height requirement).
Whenever my family visits the parks, there are few things always at the top of our must-do list. First is a
photo in front of Cinderella Castle. We do try to mix it up a bit by choosing a different location each time - on Main Street, U.S.A., in the hub area, off to the side, or directly in front. The next thing is to get a sweet and delicious DOLE WHIP at
Aloha Isle in Adventureland. YUM! Finally, we simply must take a spin in a tea cup on
Mad Tea Party. Spinning the tea cup as fast as we can started out as a tradition when my husband and I visited before we had our daughter. Now, our daughter is along for the ride and delights in getting dizzy on this fun attraction.
I'm certain that you'll discover so many exciting and fun things on your trip that they will quickly turn into family traditions for years to come. Have a fabulous time at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
