1st trip to Disney for my family and I. We are arriving Sat. Aug.27th at 10am and sadly departing on Aug.31st around 6pm. My kids are 17, 13 & 8 yrs old. We have park hopper passes for all 5 days we are there. Any sample itineraries would be great

    Hi Holly,

Congratulations on your upcoming (very soon!!!) vacation to Walt Disney World.

I would suggest the following itinerary which is designed to avoid the parks with the largest crowds on each particular day.

    August 27 - Epcot
    August 28 - Magic Kingdom
August 29 - Epcot, then hop to Magic Kingdom which is open until 10:00 p.m.
    August 30 - Hollywood Studios
August 31 - due to time constraints because of your departure, I would go to Animal Kingdom taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hour beginning at 8:00 a.m. Get there prior to the park's opening time. This park can be done in less than a full day although you'll probably want to return on a future visit to take in all the beautiful details of this amazingly Imagineered-park.

With park hoppers, feel free to hop to a different park later in the day if you feel like you've accomplished most of your Must See attractions at your morning park. Look at the Times Guide and make sure to hop to the park that is open the latest to maximize your touring time.

Wishing your family a memorable first trip to WDW!
