1st trip/ Disney & deciding where to stay. We plan 2 connecting rooms. We have 4 kids 14,13, 9 & 5. The younger two like the looks of the allstar or pop century the 2 older like PO resort  pool with slides & stuff. which is best?

Hi, Jason!  Congratulations on your first WDW vacation!  We also have four kids that match up in age almost exactly as yours, and even though you're going to spend a bit more to stay at a moderate resort, I highly recommend upgrading.  The value resorts are fun, whimsical and a great deal.  However, the amenities (particularly at the two Port Orleans' resorts) make an investment in a vacation like you're making so much more comfortable and convenient.  The beds are better quality.  The rooms provide more space. The location is more convenient and provides more recreation options.  The restaurants have better quality food and provide various experiences. Plus, your big kids are right.  Port Orleans does have some cool slides at the pool! (And with two teenagers, you're going to LOVE having two bathrooms since you'll have connecting rooms!)  Let me know if I can help you further.  Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
