    Our trip to Disney is coming up! What time shoud we leave FW campsites to be there early for park openings on Disney trans? Would like to be there at least 30 minutes before opening. June 14-20th! Also, how long to get from AK to Chef Mickeys? Thanks!

    Last year, I really wanted to see the Opening Show at the Train Station at Magic Kingdom.  We missed the first ferry that leaves 1 hour before park opening, and had to get the second one and barely saw the show... My advice is to get to the pier with ample time.

    A good backup: The ferry to The Contemporary usually begins around 6:45 a.m. to shuttle folks who have reservations at Chef Mickey's. If you want to get to Magic Kingdom earlier, consider taking the Contemporary ferry and then walking from the Contemporary over to the park entrance OR you can hop on the monorail, but keep in mind that it's a 15-minute monorail ride to the front gates.

    As for getting from Animal Kingdom to Chef Mickey's, simply take the bus from the park to the Contemporary where Chef Mickey's is located.
