Trip to Disney Aug 12,previously stayed at pop and remember the LONG walk to busses while leaving parks. Can u tell me the order of resort busses lined up at bus stops while leaving parks. Silly but with 3 little kids and Aug heat we might pick diff resort

Hi Mary!  I totally understand your thoughts on bus transportation and long walks but please don't pick a resort for that reason.  I have found that often when they drop you off they will drop you at a different resort stop and I haven't figured out why.  When there are stops that are much closer they continue on to the end and stop there. I assume they can do this in the early morning hours as guests are not waiting yet to go back to resorts.

On the afternoon and evening return trips I have tried to see what resorts are closer then others.  At one point I felt that the Deluxe resorts will have the closer stops over the Value ones. But at some parks this isn't all that much different.  I find Epcot hard to figure out as to who gets priority and it is a LONG walk to the busses there.  Animal Kingdom is another longer walk.  Magic Kingdom isn't bad and Hollywood Studios is ok as well. Some locations for the resorts have changed with different trips so it is hard to even pinpoint.

Honestly, when you have to catch a bus the difference between the resorts is slim.  The long walk to the stops in general is what you are feeling thus I feel it is more important to choose the resort for the amenities and room it can offer your family over where the bus stop is located at the parks.
