Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    Our trip is 12/13/15 - 12/19/15 and we will have the dining plan. We are planning to hang around until late afternoon on 12/19. If we don't use all of our meal credits, would they still be available on 12/19 even after we check out of the hotel? Thanks

    Hey Barbara! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    One of the things that I love most about the Disney Dining Plans is that it allows you the flexibility to use your credits however and (mostly) whenever you want! You now have the ability to redeem more than one Table-Service meal, snack, or Quick-service meal per night as you wish until you have used all of your meal/snack credits. That means if you want to eat three Table-Service meals in one day now you can! The other great perk to the Dining Plans is that you can use your Rapid Fill Resort refillable mug and any remaining meals/snacks that may be left until midnight on the day that you check out of your Resort hotel! I think that the Walt Disney World Resort understands that it would be a shame to let any unused dining credits go to waste…especially since the food is so delicious and plentiful!

    Lastly if you haven’t done so already, please be sure to make dining reservations. They can be made up to 180 days before your Resort check in date. If you don’t see the reservation that you need I always encourage guests to keep trying! You never know what may become available as your vacation comes closer!
