Our trip was decided last minute, and it seems most restaurants are already booked. Are there usually enough no-shows that we might get into a restaurant without having a reservation? We aren't interested in character dining if that helps.

    Hi Catherine!

That is the one downfall when making last minute trips to Walt Disney World, sometimes not being able to find a dining reservation. But, here is the good part, I have made many trips to Walt Disney World and have never gone hungry. I love to eat, too!

As long as you are flexible, you should be able to find something when you arrive. I have been able to walk into restaurants last minute and get a table even when they have been booked. we've just waited the required amount of wait and then been seated. So yes, people do forget, or get stuck somewhere, or just don't show up at times and you should be able to eat at most restaurants.

Oh by the way, there is one more part of the equation...  the number in your party. Typically the less people you have, the easier it will be to get you in.

I hope you have a wonderful time on your vacation in a few days! Have a magical day!
