Our trip is Dec. 6-14, Pop Warner week. We're staying at AS Music, but I'm worried about buses being crowded (since all AS resorts share) and the possibility of PW kids staying at our resort. Would transportation be easier@Ft.WilCabi w/ sm kids?

Hi Joni! Disney comes alive at their ESPN Wide World of Sports facility early in December every year. The Pop Warner competition brings teams from all over the country to battle it out. Of course they also build time into their schedule to visit the parks and enjoy the Disney magic.

The All Star resorts tend to be home to these teams during this week. I have many times encouraged families to book other resorts if they don't want to interact with teams during their stay. This does not mean that the team guests are not good guests but if they want interaction with more family guests then it is a good idea to book a different resort. Pop Century and Art of Animation are also Value resorts and although they can also have teams staying there it doesn't seem to be as many.

Buses will fill up when teams all try to head to the same place but Disney has learned from past years when to also put extra buses on a resort line. Unfortunately it is impossible to guarantee easy transportation at any given time.

I personally love the Fort Wilderness cabins. They are quiet and you have your own individual cabin so you are not sharing walls with anyone else or you won't have anyone running and yelling in front of your door. The cabins come complete with a full kitchen, a bedroom with double bed and bun beds, one bathroom, and a living area that includes pull down bed, dining table and chairs, and a tv/DVD player. There is an internal bus loop that will take you to park buses or the marina where you can catch a boat to the Magic Kingdom. The transportation is rarely over crowded and just the peacefulness and uniqueness of this resort makes it magical. There are playgrounds, pony rides, and campfire singalongs beyond the normal pools to make this a very good resort for small children!
