Trip Dec 19-23. Planning on going to MK 2 days since we figured our 7 & 5 yo would enjoy that park the best. Flight doesn't arrive to MCO until 2. MK is only open until 7 that night. Is it worth going for a few hrs or go to a park with later hours?

Hi, Ann!  We arrive on the 19th also, and our game plan is to grab a bite to eat, then head into EPCOT.  I like it when I can have the kids do something fun on our first night, especially if it's during the holidays!  We'll go to EPCOT, see the Christmas tree, catch some of the Future World attractions, and then make sure we stay for Illuminations.

With a flight that arrives at two in the afternoon, if you are planning to use Disney's Magical Express, you can expect to be arriving at your hotel around 3:00 or 3:30.  Allowing time to check in, you may not actually make it to the Magic Kingdom until nearly 5, which cuts your time to bare minimum.  Having said that, you could still pop in, ride the train, admire the holiday decorations, and maybe have time for one or two other attractions, depending on lines.  The early closing time will allow you to call it a night earlier, get a good night's sleep, and be up and at 'em the next morning.

If you have park hoppers, you might try to squeeze in a bit of everything!  Head into the Magic Kingdom, do one or two attractions, then head over to another park for the evening.  Pack in as much holiday fun as you can!

I hope your trip is absolutely magical!
