Our trip is 11 days away so we are making sure we have all things covered. Is it best to leave our luggage and allow Disney Express to bring them to hotel?? Any ideas for us 1st timers to Disney World??

I like to leave the luggage to be handled by others!

I love having the big bags moved for me by Magical Express, and recommend that you do the same. As long as you pack with the worst case scenario in mind, you will find it is a great convenience, and one that puts a nice, luxurious spin on the vacation.

So how do you pack to take advantage of the service? It is important to know that Magical Express has a very good track record, with bags reliably showing up in your room within 3 hours after you arrive. But just in case, make sure you pack in your carry on anything you will need that day, including any swimwear you might use on arrival day, or princess dresses if you are doing a character dinner on your arrival day.

I also recommend that on ANY trip that you pack in your carry-on items you could not afford to go without if your bags were lost, like essential medication. But again, that is not based on a Disney vacation, but ANY vacation.

As for other first-timer suggestions, there are so many. But the most important one is to not let the vacation overwhelm you. Remember to slow down, like taking some pool time every day. Put the Rest and Relaxation back into your R&R. If you want some other suggestions (like quick service dining recommendations), write me back and I can offer some more last minute planning tips!

    Have a magical vacation!
