Have trip date set with family for early Nov. at Port Orleans French Quarter at Disney World. Wondering what the pool hours will be and the likely hood of good enough weather to swim. Thank you!

Greetings, Geneen, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for this great question regarding pool hours at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter.

Pools and great weather await with the choice of swimming at either Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter's "Doubloon Lagoon" or at Riverside's "Ol' Man Island". If you decide to stroll over to the Riverside, please take a towel from your room. Pool hours vary depending on the time of year, but typically open early morning until late evening (subject to change). I have seen pool hours from as early as 7:00 AM or 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM or 11:00 PM. You may wish to call the French Quarter at (407) 934-5000 for specifics regarding pool hours during your visit.

Abundant recreation awaits from pool hopping to the Riverside, Campfire and Movies Under the Stars at night, Bike and Surrey Bike Rentals and much more. The redesigned Disney Springs is bursting with new shopping, dining and entertainment and a quick water taxi ride away down the Sassagoula River right from the French Quarter!

You'll be in time for Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party which are not-to-be-missed special events!

    Best Disney Wishes Geneen!
