Hello, For my trip 01/08/21, I was curious if we are allowed to store under/hold onto a backpack on the rides in all of the Disney World Parks? On the rides/attractions, we can't, are there often storage cubbies for them? -MJ

    Hi Madison! Welcome to planDisney!

You are just days away from your vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth! I bet excitement levels are high for you right now. The last few days of a vacation countdown are always busy, but they are full of anticipation, too! Now is a good time to begin planning your packing lists for both your suitcase for the trip and your backpack in the theme parks. I never leave home without our trusty ponchos and small, handheld fans for the family. They both come in handy when enjoying our vacation!

I think you will be pleased to hear that you can take your backpack with you on all the attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort! On most attractions, you will simply store the bag at your feet when you sit down. For certain attractions like Soarin' Around the World in EPCOT, your bag will either be placed under your seat if it fits or in a designated spot next to the row you are in. Although it probably isn't necessary, I have a habit of stepping on the strap of my bag or backpack to make sure it doesn't slide around during the rides, especially on more thrilling ones like Space Mountain and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. It gives me extra peace of mind that my bag will stay in place!

I hope this helps, Madison! Please let us know if you have any other questions before your trip!
