Our trip will consist of the end of Sept early Oct. Any news on the FantasyLand homefront? Are there more attractions open than were previously listed? We are most interested in the photo ops, new castles, and tea cups!

Hi Rachel!  For those guests who have visited the Magic Kingdom in the last few weeks they have seen the opening of half of the new Dumbo ride as well as the Great Goofini roller coaster. The Fantasyland Train station is also opening now.  The workers are working night and day now but the timeline has not been changed much for what will open this year and next.  They are still projecting that the Little Mermaid Ride, Under the Sea and the Be Our Guest restaurant will open late fall. Also Beauty and the Beast Village.  Coming in September might be too early to see any more soft openings for these new attractions but you just don't know.  On any given day this fall Disney can open something to see how well it will work with "real" guests to then close it for the next few weeks to tweak it to perfection.

The tea cups are still running strong and Snow Whites Adventure ride will be shut down permanently May 31. This will then become the place to meet and greet the princesses. No official word has been given as to how long it will take for this to open up again as the new photo op location.

Your best bet is to check with Guest Services when you arrive at the park this fall to see where the meet and greets are. They will have many going on but they likely will be more scattered in the park until this permanent location is completed.
