trip 9/2014. considering staying at pop century and then switching to polynesian for the last weekend. When we book our trip can we buy a seven day pass and use the days between both hotels or do we have to buy separate days at both hotels?

    Hi Kristin!

I'm so glad that you popped by the Moms Panel with your fantastic question!

A 'split-stay' is such a fun way to experience even more of Walt Disney World during your stay. I've enjoyed several split stays with my own family as we love to try out all the different resort properties around 'the world.'

You absolutely are able to purchase a longer length park ticket with your first reservation (or purchase tickets completely separately if you wish) to use for the duration of your stay at the two resorts. It's definitely the more economical way to do it since the longer you play, the less you pay per day! Tickets purchased without a non-expiration option are valid for use for 14 days beginning with the first day of usage.

That being said, if you're planning to purchase the Disney Dining Plan during your stay, a ticket purchase is required in order to be eligible to add the plan. Should you include the Disney Dining Plan with your entire stay, you'll need to purchase a 6 day Magic Your Way Ticket with your Pop Century stay and a 1 Day Magic Your Way Ticket with your Polynesian stay, to be eligible for the Disney Dining Plan. Alternatively, you could opt for the Dining Plan on just your Pop Century stay, with an extended park ticket to cover your Polynesian stay, and a room-only reservation for the Polynesian portion of your visit.

I hope this information is helpful to you Kristin. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back. It would be my pleasure to assist you further in any way that I may!

Wishing you a simply Magical time planning your next visit to Walt Disney World!
