Tiffani from RI Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have a trip coming up that I planned with Disney in September. I already bought the park tickets, and I see the tickets have gone down in price. Am I eligible for a refund of the difference in price?

Hey Howdy Hey Tiffani and welcome to planDisney!

There is no better feeling than purchasing your Theme Park Tickets and knowing you have a solidified trip to the Walt Disney World Resort coming up soon. There is so much going on in the parks to be excited about, especially this fall. I also am with you in instances in the past when I made a purchase and realized that if I had just waited another week, the pricing might have been different. Let's go over the specifics with Theme Park Tickets.

When it comes to Theme Park Tickets, once purchased, these tickets are non-refundable. If you do notice the price is different for the same days after purchase, Disney will typically not refund any money due to the price change. If you did purchase your tickets as part of a vacation package, including your stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, this may be different.

If you did purchase your tickets as part of a package, this will be different. In most cases, you will be able to rebook your entire package with the new updated price. You can do this through your My Disney Experience account online or by calling Disney and speaking with a Cast Member.

Either way, you have your tickets for your Magical vacation just a few weeks away and you can get back to the fun of planning your vacation. Friendly reminder that Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass are available for purchase 7 days before your date of arrival if staying on-site at a Disney Resort hotel or qualifying resort. If staying elsewhere, you will have 3 days prior to your arrival at the park to make your purchase and reservations. This can help out so much to line up your "must do" attractions while spacing out dining reservations and other things like parades and fireworks shows.

I hope you have fun planning your Enchanting vacation as this can be part of the fun! If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!

    To Infinity and Beyond,
